can passively attract huge droplets of water to condense on them. Drawing
inspiration from spider silk, scientists have successfully created artificial
spider silk materials in the lab. These synthetic materials mimic the
structure and properties of natural spider silk, including the ability to absorb
and retain water molecules from the surrounding environment.

Artificial spider silk, inspired by nature’s own water-harvesting abilities,
